Syntax Errors On Addresses
This is a common error when trying to send cards if you do not use the proper email address. The computer will not accept any address that is not written properly. Common errors that show up in the error log are addresses that have spaces in them ie. (abcgreetings @home.com), addresses that have a comma instead of a period when typing .com .net etc. (abcgreetings@home,com) and addresses that have a period after the complete address. ie. (abcgreetings@home.com.) Simple names cannot be used for mail addresses. Mom and Dad or Bill for instance will not work. Another common error is using brackets in front and behind the address. This is normally caused when a person takes the address from a header using the copy command in an email from an email address. You cannot send mutiple cards by using a comma after the address as in some card sites. For example:
(abcgreetings@home.com,together@togethersweb.com,santaclaus@home.com) We have set up a multisend for this and this will allow you to send the postcard to up to 25 different people. If you are having a problem with your addresses please send us an email and we will try to resolve your problem.

How much does it cost to send a card?
Nothing! The cards are absolutely free for you to send to as many people as you choose! The only thing we would ask in return is to let a few of your friends know about our service!
How do I send a card?
To send a card, first go to this page: http://www.cardsforfun.com/index.shtml. Then choose a topic. Once you've chosen your card, click send this under the card (picture) you want and completely fill out the form below. When you are done, click preview card to make sure everything looks right and the e-mail addresses are correct. If everything is correct click send. If not click the back button on your browser -- make the changes and then send your card! *Special Note: You will receive an e-mail letting you know when the card was picked up!
How do I pick up a card?
If you have received a card you will (or have) received an e-mail notification letting you know your card number and the address of where to pick it up from. If you're still having trouble finding the pick up page click here then enter your card number in the box and click the button. It's that easy!
I can't find my card number.
If you are having problems finding your card number please forward the notice you received by e-mail that let you know you have a card waiting for you to webmaster@cardsforfun.com.
It's says "no card found."
If your card is over 7days old it has been deleted from our database. Due to the overwhelming number of cards sent daily we need to do this as to not slow down our server. If your card is less than 7 days old and you are getting the "no card found" error page, make sure there are no spaces before the number and that the number is correct. If after trying that you are still getting that error please forward the notice you received by e-mail that let you know you have a card waiting for you to webmaster@cardsforfun.com.
There are no images on my card.
This sometimes happens when the person who sent you the card forgot to click the button signifying which card (or image) to send you. Our suggestion is to kindly ask the sender to resend the card and make sure they click the button.
I sent a card but they didn't receive a notice yet.
If your recipient didn't receive the card it may be due to slow connections on the Internet, the e-mail address you wrote was incorrect or the person you are trying to send a card to has a mail block on their email. As cards are sent from our server if your friend has an email block on then our cards will not go through. Before sending that card make sure all the addresses are correct and ensure that your friend does not have an email block set.
They picked up the card but I didn't get a notice.
If you didn't receive a notice it is either due to slow connections on the Internet or the more common answer - the e-mail address you wrote for the sender (your email address) was incorrect. So before sending that card make sure all the addresses are correct.
You load a page and there are some images missing.
Chances are the images are on the page, but if you are using Internet Explorer 5 sometimes the browser loads things so fast that it goes by an image. To fix this simply right click where the image should appear and click show picture. If you are attempting to view a java picture and do not have your browser java enabled you will not see the image. To fix this simply go into your options and set your browser to java enabled.
